About Harrison County Airport
Harrison County Airport (ASL) is a vibrant, public-use general aviation facility that primarily accommodates recreational, corporate, and training operations. The airport is owned and operated by Harrison County and features two runways: primary Runway 15-33, which measures 5,002 feet long by 100 feet wide, and crosswind Runway 2-20, which is 3,299 feet long by 60 feet wide. Published instrument approach procedures are available to each end of Runway 15-33. ASL is a fully functional general aviation facility that serves as an economic catalyst for Harrison County in addition to its primary role as a transportation facility, and has excellent potential to grow in these roles. This airport layout plan (ALP) process will be a chance for Harrison County to decide how best to position ASL to serve aviation needs in the community and beyond, now and into the future.
